The EXPEDITION portable space heater is the medium sized space heater in ITR’s PIONEER line of on-powered, diesel-fired space heaters. The EXPEDITION has an output range of 10,000 to 30,000 BTU. Like the rest of the PIONEER line, the EXPEDITION is gravity fed and does not require electricity or any other source of power, and is based on proven technology designed for the U.S. Army that has been field tested globally.

The EXPEDITION uses ITR’s patented vaporizing burner technology, which eliminates smoke and smell while increasing safety by preventing fuel pooling. The EXPEDITION also features automatic shut-off in the event of tilts or high temperatures, as well as an outer heat shield to prevent accidental contact with the heater.

The EXPEDITION consumes one U.S. gallon of fuel in approximately 5.5 hours when operating on low-heat settings, or one U.S. gallon in 3 hours on high-heat settings. It will comfortably heat over 1,100 cubic feet of space.

The EXPEDITION is sold with a cleaning auger, primer rod and draft regulator. Exhaust stacks, rain caps, external fuel lines and other accessories are available in various configurations.

All PIONEER Heaters, including the EXPEDITION, are approved to CSA/UL standards.
